JUNIOR PERFORMANCE
Through the development of our juniors who enrol in our LTA Youth programme. We aim to build all our junior players into the best they can be. Those who show a great amount of passion, enthusiasm, work ethic, desire and enhanced abilities are given the opportunity to join our performance programme.
We are not only just looking to build tennis players. We are looking to build amazing human beings. Through our performance programme they will build confidence, sportsmanship, core values, team building skills and a strong worth ethic.

Junior Squad
Our squads will be led by Head Coach Matt with his highly qualified coaching team.
All sessions are run once a week for 1 hour 30min.
Players will training to develop their technical skills and learn to make sound tactical choices.
Practice points (match-play) will be a priority in their training. This is where they learn to compete but to also handle situations in which winning is not the ultimate goal. Players are striving to learn, improve, and fuel their passion and enjoyment on an ongoing basis.
Footwork, Agility & Fitness is a key component to every players success. All squad players are pushed to get the very best from them. A healthy body and a healthy mind to build the ultimate version of themselves.
The squads are invite only but please reach out to our Head Coach Matt to inquire on a position in the squads we always welcome new players to our team.

Ladder Leagues
The box leagues play a vital part in the players progression. Match-play keeps them hungary, competitive and a great way to track their progress and a good measure for where the players stand within the team. The juniors absolutely love this.
One of our coaching staff will host a match-play session each month so all players are able to play their matches. Balls and courts will be provided.
All matches played will be counted towards their WTN number/LTA points.
LTA Youth Compete
Some of our juniors are new to the squad and are not yet farmiliar with competitive play. The LTA Youth Compete set up gives them a great taster for tournaments and competition. A good way to break in your child.
We want to give every child in our programme the opportunity to compete in a fun and friendly enviornment with their squad buddies. By hosting these events it grows their confidence and love to compete.
Team challenge - a great way to introduce kids to tennis competitions at their local clubs; fun, friendly, and no serious scoring with the benefits of team socialising
Matchplay - perfect for your first individual competition, or getting some extra match practice in
Local Tour - the quick-scoring junior tennis tournament
National LTA Youth Team
All squad players will have the opportunity to represent Wycombe House LTC in the LTA Youth Team Competition where players of all ages and abilities get the chance to battle it out alongside against a variety of different opponents alongside their friends.
Our team will play against other clubs in the middlesex county where a minimum of 4 and a max of 6 players will be required to compete in each match.
Parents will be required to travel to away matches. The head coach will coordinate all match fixtures and will be emailed to you.

LTA Tournaments
Through our fun, friendly and competitive box leagues, team matches. We aim to give every junior the confidence to compete in LTA sanctioned tournaments.
We will be hosting LTA tournaments throughout the year at our venue. However, we encourage our juniors to enter and compete in other local tournaments.

REQUIREMENTS
ITF World Tennis Number/LTA Ranking
All junior players before enrolling into the squads are required to have an ITF Would Tennis Number/ LTA RANKING.

Regular Play
All our juniors play regularly meaning more than once a week. Before enrolling in the squad each junior is required to play once a week in our squad & entered into our box leagues to gain match practice and/or a 1hr lesson with the head coach. This is a minimum requiement.
Communication
We have a tight family at Strike Sports. For the best communication we formed the Strike Sports Whatsapp group. This is a quick and great way to communicate with you if a session needs to be cancelled due to bad weather and for and coming events etc plus you could use it to share car rides if required.
